Custom Printed Products

Most products sold by TPU Patches are custom-made to the customer’s artwork, specifications or order requirements.

Because these products are made specifically for you, they are not eligible for return, cancellation or refund due to change of mind once production has started.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • TPU 3D High Build transfers
  • Custom TPU patches
  • Custom printed transfers
  • Raised logo transfers
  • Products made using customer-supplied artwork
  • Bespoke or personalised orders

Please check all artwork, sizes, quantities, colours and order details carefully before placing your order.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately at orders@tpupatches.co.uk.

We will do our best to help if production has not started. Once production has started, custom orders cannot usually be changed, cancelled or refunded.

If an order has already been produced, printed, packed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled unless the product is faulty or incorrect due to an error on our part.

Artwork Responsibility

Customers are responsible for supplying correct, suitable and print-ready artwork.

We cannot offer refunds or free reprints where an issue is caused by customer-supplied artwork, including but not limited to:

  • Low-resolution artwork
  • Blurry or pixelated files
  • Incorrect sizing
  • Spelling mistakes
  • Unwanted backgrounds
  • Incorrect colours
  • Incorrect file setup
  • Artwork supplied at the wrong scale
  • Missing design elements
  • Poor-quality logos
  • Artwork containing effects that are unsuitable for production
  • Incorrect quantities or order details selected by the customer

If we believe artwork may not be suitable, we may contact you before production. However, placing an order does not include a full artwork checking, proofing, background removal, resizing or design correction service unless this has been specifically agreed in writing.

We produce orders based on the artwork and information supplied by the customer.

Colour, Finish & Production Tolerances

We make every effort to produce high-quality transfers, but colours may vary slightly between screens, artwork files, production methods, materials and batches.

Screen colours are not an exact representation of the final printed product. Colours viewed on a phone, tablet, monitor or digital proof may appear different when produced as a physical transfer.

TPU 3D High Build transfers are a raised, textured product and may not match the look, colour or feel of standard flat DTF transfers. Small variations in texture, height, edge detail, finish and colour can occur due to the production process.

These small variations are not classed as faults.

Suitability of Artwork for TPU 3D High Build

Not all artwork is suitable for TPU 3D High Build production. Bold logos, shapes, text and badge-style artwork usually work best.

Very fine detail, small text, thin lines, soft fades, gradients, semi-transparent areas or complex artwork may not produce the same result as standard DTF.

By placing an order, you accept that TPU 3D High Build is a specialist raised product and may require suitable artwork to achieve the best result.

Pressing & Application Issues

Customers are responsible for following the correct pressing instructions supplied or published by us.

We cannot accept responsibility for failed application, garment damage or transfer damage caused by:

  • Incorrect heat press temperature
  • Incorrect pressure
  • Incorrect pressing time
  • Incorrect peeling method
  • Pressing onto unsuitable garments or fabrics
  • Incorrect washing or drying
  • Re-pressing incorrectly
  • Using domestic irons instead of a suitable heat press
  • Not testing before full production

We recommend testing first before applying transfers to valuable garments or large production runs.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you believe your order is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving it.

Please email orders@tpupatches.co.uk and include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos showing the problem
  • Photos of the full sheet or full order where relevant
  • Photos of the packaging if the parcel arrived damaged

We will review the issue and, where we agree there has been a manufacturing fault or an error on our part, we may offer a reprint, replacement, store credit or refund depending on the circumstances.

We reserve the right to request that faulty or incorrect goods are returned to us before a refund, reprint or replacement is issued.

Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with clear photos of the outside packaging, inside packaging and goods.

Please do not throw away the packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as it may be required for a delivery claim.

Returns

Custom printed products cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrect due to an error on our part.

If a return is required, this must be agreed with us before anything is sent back. Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Where goods are confirmed to be faulty due to our error, we will advise the next steps and may cover reasonable return postage where necessary.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Once processed, refunds may take several working days to appear in your account depending on your bank, card provider or payment provider.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order is faulty, incorrect or otherwise required by law.

Delivery Delays

Once an order has been dispatched with tracking, delivery is handled by Royal Mail.

We are not responsible for courier delays, weather disruption, strikes, missed deliveries, Royal Mail network delays, seasonal delays or events outside of our control.

We cannot refund or remake custom orders simply because a delivery has been delayed by Royal Mail.

If tracking shows the parcel has been delivered to the address provided, we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost, stolen or misplaced after delivery.

Business Losses

We are not responsible for loss of business, missed deadlines, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contracts, loss of reputation, wasted garments or any indirect or consequential losses caused by production delays, courier delays, artwork issues, application issues or customer error.

We strongly recommend ordering with enough time for production, delivery and testing before using transfers for customer orders, events, deadlines or launches.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may have rights under UK consumer law.
